How to use
FOR: all skin types, including sensitive skin
ILIA's Limitless Lash Mascara formula builds to create extreme length and natural volume in a classic black finish.
One coat of mascara lifts and extends lashes with a natural effect, while additional coats build to create a more dramatic appearance.
Start by using an eyelash curler to give lashes an extra lift before applying mascara.
Use the shorter bristles on the dual-sided brush to build volume by coating lashes from root to tip.
Use the longer comb-like side to separate and define lashes as you lift and lengthen.
For a more dramatic look, apply an extra-light coat to the ends after separating.
At the end of the day, simply remove the mascara with warm water or a light cleanser.

So it won’t smudge or flake, yet you do not need to tug on your eyes in the evening to remove it.
It can be easily removed at the end of the day with water or your favorite cleanser.
It is oil-free and ophthalmologist-tested to be safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Regarding formulation, many black pigments in the beauty industry are derived from an ingredient called Carbon Black.
Studies have shown that Carbon Black is a carcinogen and should be avoided whenever possible.
Instead, we chose to get the black pigment from Charcoal which is a clean alternative.

Founder's story
Driven by her concern for “green washing”, her mother’s attentiveness to diet, healthy living and homeopathy which helped her brother, Zachary Ilia, to cure his acute asthma and severe allergies, Sasha Plavsic slowly started the creation of ILIA in Vancouver, 2011, a clean beauty line which is out to prove that functionality and stability can work hand in hand when it comes to achieving and maintaining your healthy skin and your good looks.
Throughout her twenties, Sasha was interested in design and typography, studying in London and New York, and working for brands such as Cartier, in marketing and branding.
This experience gave her a good understanding of the world of business which she later on used when she returned to Vancouver and founded the beginnings of ILIA.
The name, ILIA, is Slavic in heritage and has a double meaning.
It comes from their great grandfather who was a high-end shoe designer from Belgrade, in former Yugoslavia and it means hand made shoes and also organic and healthy, which captures the brand.
